SURVIVOR SERIES RULES

1.

NO PROFESSIONAL FISHERMAN. If you GUIDE or TOURNAMENT FISH as your MAIN source of income. Florida Bass Club considers you as a professional and will not be allowed to fish in this club.

2.

$50 Membership Fee per boat is required for teams/singles competing in regular season events. Membership fee will be collected prior to fishing any regular season events. OPENS are exempt from Membership Fees.

3.

Tournament Fee is $100 per boat per event including the Classic. Big Bass is not included in this fee. If you would like to compete for Big Bass you would need to enter the Big Bass Side Pot. Pay Out will be determined by number of boats refer to Pay Table.

4.

OPTIONAL Side Pots will be running at every event. Winner of Side Pot is winner take all and will be awarded to the Team with the most weight of a five fish limit who entered the Overall Side Pot. The Big Fish category is the same as the club rules regarding dead fish and will be awarded to the largest live single Bass by weight of those who entered Big Fish Side Pot category. Side Pot Fees are as follows.

$20 Overall Weight of 5 fish limit.

$10 Big Fish.

Winners shall be determined by total weight, with a maximum of five (5) bass per team of any size. Less any penalty's. No CULLING at the ramp.

6.

A 1/2 LB penalty or .5 on club scale will be issued for each dead fish up to 3 fish. In the event a team has 4 or more dead fish the team will be disqualified and receive last place points for the event. Weighmaster will determine dead fish and his or her ruling we be FINAL.

7.

Dead Fish will not be allowed to be weighed for Big Fish Award. Weighmaster will determine dead fish and his or her ruling will be FINAL.

8.

All fish must be caught live and in a sportsman like traditional manner. Anyone found guilty of snatching or snagging visible fish will be disqualified.

9.

Livewell's will be Checked!

10.

Ties will be broken by Most Fish then Big Fish. In the event there is still a tie teams will split money evenly.

11.

Only casting, spinning, or spin casting rods (Rods may be a maximum of 8' in length) may be used. Any other type of rod or reel is prohibited. One rod per person is permitted to be in use at any one time. NO Trolling!

12.

Only artificial lures may be used. No live or prepared baits. Pork Rind Trailers are allowed.

13.

A team consist of 1 or 2 Anglers. Those deciding to fish Solo will not be allowed to add a Co-Angler after Tournament 2.

14.

Each 2 person team will receive 2 Alternate's for one member for the regular season events. Alternates will not be allowed in the Classic. A fee of $20 will be collected for use of an alternate. This fee collected will go straight to the Classic Fund.

15.

FWC Tournament Exemptions will be pulled for each event. In the circumstance that an exemption is not pulled for any reason. The club with follow the Florida State Law.

16.

Florida Bass Club will host an Open Tournament that will kick off the season. The payback of the Open will payout the same as any regular season tournament. The monies that would go to the Classic Fund in the open will go to club expenses whatever is left over will go straight to the Classic Fund as well. The top 2 teams in this Open will receive a berth into the Classic in May 2024. The teams receiving berth will still be required to compete in 6 of 7 regular season events to compete in Classic.

17.

In order to compete in the Classic each team must fish 6 out of 7 regular season tournaments and be in the TOP 25 in the points standings or finished in 1st or 2nd in the Open. The two teams that received a berth in the Open will still be required to fish the 6 regular season tournaments to compete in the Classic. Meaning with the top 25 and 2 berths there could be a maximum of 27 boats in the Classic.

18.

Angler's can pay for a tournament in advance in the circumstances that they are going to miss a tournament. This would give the team credit and points for a tournament that they plan to miss. Last place points will be awarded one spot below the last angler that has fish. No buy backs after the fact.

19.

Each Angler will be required to wear a chest-type U.S. Coast Guard approved life preserver whenever the boat is on a plane.

20.

Vessel must be equipped with a working kill switch and be in use.

21.

Vessel must be equipped with a working Livewell to ensure fish are handled properly to return to the water in good condition.

22.

Safe boat conduct must be observed at all times. A violation of state or local boating laws as well as any conservation laws resulting in a written citation shall result in disqualification from the event.

23.

Navigation lights must be used at the start of each tournament and remain on until the shoreline, on the opposite side of the lakes become easily visible.

24.

Minimum of 40hp outboard on a 17ft vessel is required to enter any Florida Bass Club Tournament. NO AIR BOATS!

25.

No leaving the boat for any reason unless it is an emergency. In the event that you or your partner has such an event or emergency be sure to contact the Tournament Director or Board Member if possible.

26.

Boat launch order shall be based on order of registration at the boat ramp. The club will launch in 5 boat increments.

27.

In the event of heavy Fog the club will wait until it is safe to navigate and or leave at an idle. This will be the Tournament Directors and or Club Officers Call.

28.

No boat shall fish within 50 yards of another boat who is anchored or have the trolling motor in the water without prior consent from the opponents. You may troll around another boat as long as you remain 50 yards from the other boat.

29.

Late to weigh penalty's are as follows:

1lb per min up to 15 mins at that point team receive last place points.

30.

Club Membership will be limited to 50 Teams.

31.

ANGLERS OF THE YEAR TITLE will be awarded to the Team with the highest number of points accumulated at the end of the regular season.

32.

1 bonus point will be awarded to a team for every fish weighed in alive.

1 bonus point will be awarded to team who wins big fish winner for the tournament.

33.

Florida Bass Club reserves the right to make rule changes during the season for the better of the Club with a majority of vote of Officers. This will only be exercised in the event of a major issue.

Rule violations could constitute in team/angler being asked to leave the club without a refund.
